What We Believe
We believe that love is the supreme commandment, the cornerstone of our faith, and the driving force behind every endeavour we undertake. Inspired by the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father, who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, we strive to embody the same selfless love in all our relationships and pursuits. Our aims is to reflect God's transformative power of His love, shining brightly as beacons of hope, and radiating the warmth of His presence to all those around us
(Matthew 22:37-40, 1 Corinthian 13:1-3)We believe that the Bible, comprising 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the very Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. This sacred Scripture is our infallible guide, illuminating the path of faith and practice, and providing us with wisdom, direction, and hope. As the living and active Word of God, the Bible is the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and life, shaping our values, informing our conscience, and transforming our hearts.
At the heart of Scripture lies the greatest commandment: to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbours as ourselves. This divine mandate inspires us to embody the love, compassion, and service that Jesus exemplified, and to reflect God's character to a world in need. As a community of believers, we're united by our commitment to Scripture, and guided by its teachings on love, justice, and mercy. The Bible's truths shape our lives, and its wisdom direct our paths, as we seek to honour God and serve humanity.
Scripture is our compass, guiding us into a deeper understanding of God's love and purposes.
We believe in one God, the majestic Creator of the universe, holy, sovereign, and eternal, yet intimately revealed in three coequal persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. This glorious Triune God is the embodiment of love, His heart overflowing with affection for humanity, desiring a deep, personal relationship with each of us.
As a community driven by love, we're captivated by the Father's sovereign plan, orchestrated with precision and care. We're humbled by the Son's sacrificial love, demonstrated on the cross, where Jesus poured out His life for our redemption. We're empowered by the Holy Spirit's presence, guiding us, teaching us, and equipping us for service. Inspired by the Trinity's unity and diversity, we strive to reflect God's love and character to a world in need, demonstrating the beauty of loving relationships and selfless service.
Scripture is our compass, guiding us into a deeper understanding of God's love and purposes.
We believe in the unshakeable truth of Jesus Christ's deity, a doctrine that stands as a bedrock of our faith. Born of a virgin, Jesus lived a life of perfect obedience, untouched by sin. His substitutionary death on the cross was a sacrifice of infinite value, redeeming humanity from the depths of sin and despair. But death could not hold Him captive, for He rose from the grave on the third day, triumphing over darkness and despair. His ascension to the Father's right hand was a glorious coronation, and His promise to return fills our hearts with hope and anticipation.
As the embodiment of God's love, Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith, the foundation of our mission, and the source of our inspiration. His love is the driving force behind our every action, compelling us to love others with a selfless passion. His teachings guide us to serve the world with compassion, kindness, and humility, and we strive to follow His example, sharing the good news of salvation and demonstrating God's love to all people.
Scripture is our compass, guiding us into a deeper understanding of God's love and purposes.
We believe salvation is by God's sovereign grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. This gift of salvation is rooted in God's love for humanity, and it transforms lives by bringing people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As recipients of God's grace, we are called to share this good news with others, demonstrating the love and kindness of Christ to all people. Those who repent and believe are justified, preserved, and perfected in Christ's image, empowered to live out their faith and service to others in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love and to love one another fervently with a pure heart. Our mission is to spread this message of hope and redemption, reflecting God's love and mercy to all.
(Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:24-25, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 1:22)We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a life-transforming experience that unleashes God's power within us. This pivotal experience ignites a fire within our souls, fueling our passion for God and love for others. As the Spirit takes residence in our hearts, we're filled with God's love, empowered to love others with a pure heart, serve with humility, and live a life that honors Him.
The Spirit's presence is a precious gift, helping us in our weakness and transforming us into the image of Christ. As we yield to the Spirit's leading, our lives become a reflection of God's glory and a testament to His power and love.
A tangible evidence of the Spirit's power is the gift of speaking in tongues, a manifestation of being sealed by His Spirit.
We acknowledge the existence of a relentless adversary, Satan, the originator of sin and the archenemy of God and humanity. Sin, with its insidious tentacles, separates us from God and breaks relationships, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. However, we rejoice in the redemptive work of Christ, who has reconciled us to God and empowered us to live victorious lives.
As a community driven by love, we're deeply aware of the destructive nature of sin and its far-reaching effects on individuals and society. We're compelled to pray for and minister to those who are bound by sin, pointing them to the freedom and restoration found in Jesus Christ. Our mission is to spread the balm of hope, healing, and redemption, reflecting God's love and mercy to a world in need.
We're not merely spectators of human suffering; we're agents of divine love, commissioned to bring life to the lost, liberty to the captive, and hope to the hopeless. As we minister to a world in need, we're reminded that Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
We believe that God created humanity in His own image, imbuing us with dignity, worth, and the capacity for relationship with Him and each other. We were designed to reflect God's love, to live in harmony with His creation, and to enjoy unbroken fellowship with our Creator. However, through Adam's disobedience, humanity fell under the weight of sin's guilt and condemnation, resulting in a world torn apart by brokenness, pain, and separation from God.
But in the midst of our darkness, a brilliant light dawned. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we're redeemed and restored to a loving relationship with God. This redemption is a powerful testament to God's love and mercy, and it empowers us to live out our faith in love, forgiveness, and service to others. Our mission is to share this message of hope and restoration with a world in need, demonstrating God's love and mercy, and equipping people to live as reflections of God's image, bringing healing and transformation to all areas of life.
We, the Church, are a radiant, Spirit-filled community of believers, who have been baptised, called out from the world to be united under the majestic Lordship of Christ Jesus as one, voluntarily associated for the sacred ministry of the Word. As we surrender to the sovereign authority of Jesus Christ, His glorious Kingship, and divine Sonship, and yield to the anointing power of the Holy Spirit, we're empowered to fulfill our divine mission and reflect the boundless love of Christ to a world in desperate need.
According to the apostolic wisdom in Ephesians 4:7-13, we're each endowed with unique gifts and graces to serve one another and build up the mystical body of Christ. The ministry of mutual edification is dear to our hearts, as we passionately pursue the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. We believe in the divinely appointed offices of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher, called out and gifted to equip the saints and mature the Church. We're blessed to be served by faithful Pastors, Elders and Deacons, who diligently shepherd and serve the flock of God.
Revelation 5:10 reminds us that we're a kingdom of priests, called to serve and worship our Lord in spirit and truth. And 1 Peter 2:9 declares that we're a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, destined to declare the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
We believe Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Baptism symbolizes identification with Christ's death and resurrection, while the Lord's Supper commemorates His sacrificial death.
Water baptism
We believe that water baptism is a pivotal step in our walk with Jesus, a public declaration of our love and obedience to Him. As we follow in the footsteps of our Saviour, we're reminded that baptism is a symbol of our death to sin and our resurrection to new life in Christ. This sacred act is a testament to our devotion, a outward expression of the inward transformation that has taken place in our hearts.
As we heed Jesus' example and obey His command, we're reminded that "love is the fulfilling of the law". Our baptism is a celebration of the love that Christ has for us, and a demonstration of our love for Him.
The Lord's Supper
We cherish the Lord's Supper as a sacred tradition, a divine appointment with the heart of our Savior. As we partake of the bread and wine, symbols of Christ's body and blood, we're transported to the foot of the cross, where the ultimate sacrifice was made for our redemption. In this intimate moment of communion, we're united as a community, our hearts overflowing with gratitude for the love and redemption He has given us.
As we remember Christ's sacrifice, we're reminded of the power of His blood, which cleanses us from all sin, and the covenant He established, which seals us as His own. This sacred feast fuels our spirits, inspires our service, and empowers us to live out our faith with trust, obedience, and love. As we celebrate the Lord's death and resurrection, we're called to share His love, healing, and restoration with a world in need, bringing hope to the hopeless, and light to those in darkness.
We believe that marriage, as ordained by God, is a sacred union between a man and a woman, reflecting the mystical bond between Christ and His church. This divine institution is built on the bedrock of love, commitment, and mutual respect, designed to flourish in the warmth of God's presence.
As a community, we cherish and uphold marriage as a cornerstone of society, a shining testament to the beauty and joy of God's design. We're committed to nurturing healthy relationships, built on the principles of love, forgiveness, and mutual submission. Our mission is to reflect God's love and design in all our relationships, pointing others to the beauty and joy of living according to His Word.
At the core of our community beats a vibrant pulse of prayer, fuelled by a deep passion for the love of God and the well-being of others. We believe that prayer is the backbone of our community, the foundation upon which we stand, and the catalyst that unleashes the power of God's unconditional love into the lives of those around us.
As we pray with fervour and persistence, we're empowered by God's love to stand in the gap for others, petitioning Heaven on their behalf. We're reminded that "prayer is the lifeblood of the church" and that through it, we can ask whatever we wish, and it will be done for us. We're encouraged to "pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests", knowing that God's love is the ultimate answer to every need.
We believe in the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and carried our sorrows, bringing healing and deliverance to all who believe. As proclaimed by the prophet Isaiah, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners."
We're convinced that every believer can experience the liberating power of the cross, breaking free from the chains of generational curses, spiritual strongholds, and bondages that have held them captive. Through faith and prayer, we can tap into the authority given to us as believers, walking in the freedom and victory that Christ has secured for us.
As we pray for healing, deliverance, and freedom, we're confident that God can do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. We rise up, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to live victorious lives, unshackled by the weights of our past, and our testimony is beacon of hope to a world in need of freedom.
In the warmth of God's unconditional love, we find our sense of belonging. Our community is built on the unshakeable foundation of His love, and we're called to shine as beacons of hope in a world that needs it. As Jesus reminds us, "You are the light of the world...let your light shine before others".
We're passionate about creating a haven where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Through our various initiatives and partnerships, we strive to address the needs of our community, serve the vulnerable, and leave a lasting impact on the lives of others. Our community is a vibrant ecosystem of love, worship, and service, where you can:
- Find spiritual nourishment through our worship services and Bible studies
- Connect with others through small groups and support networks
- Serve alongside us in community outreach programs
- Make a difference in the lives of others through opportunities for service and volunteer work
At the heart of our community beats a passion for discipleship and spiritual growth, fueled by the unrelenting power of God's unconditional love. We believe that as we draw near to Him, His transformative love reshapes our lives, conforming us to the image of His beloved Son. The apostle Peter's words echo in our hearts: "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ".
As we embark on this sacred journey, we pursue a deeper intimacy with God, allowing His Word to dwell richly within us. Our hearts beat with a growing passion for the things of God, and our lives are marked by a commitment to obedience, service, and surrender.
As we seek to follow in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ, we recognise that humility is not weakness, but strength - a hallmark of effective ministry that is rooted in the unconditional love of God. In the gentle whisper of Jesus' words, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart", we find the blueprint for a ministry that honours Him.
We're committed to cultivating a spirit of humility, one that is marked by a willingness to serve, to listen, and to lift others up. May our ministry be characterised by kindness, compassion, and a deep-seated dependence on God's grace. As we labor in the harvest, may we give God all the praise, acknowledging that every triumph, every blessing, and every fruit of our labor is a testament to His goodness and love. Our humble service is a reflection of Christ's love, we shine as beacons of His light in a world that needs it.
As followers of Jesus, we are called to embody the essence of servant love - a love that stoops, serves, and sacrifices. Like the Master who modelled it perfectly, we believe that service is not just a duty, but a divine privilege - an expression of God's unconditional love that flows through us to a world in need.
In the sacred words of Jesus, "The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve", we find our mandate and inspiration. Were committed to serving others with hearts that overflow with love, humility, and kindness - just as Jesus served. Our ministry is mark by acts of service that point people to the transformative power of God's love, and a vessels of His compassion, care, and kindness to a world that desperately needs it.
As we serve, we remember that every act of kindness, every gesture of love, and every moment of compassion is an opportunity to reflect the heart of God to a world that needs Him.
In the radiant light of God's love, we find the freedom to love without bounds. Our community is built on the foundational truth that every individual is created in the image of God, deserving of dignity, respect, and love. We believe that the walls that divide us - background, circumstance, identity - are not visible in the eyes of our Heavenly Father.
As we stand on the solid ground of Scripture, we are reminded that in Christ, we are one. "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus". Inspired by the unconditional love that God has poured out upon us, we strive to create a community that reflects the beauty of His heart - a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and loved.
At the core of our faith lies a deep-seated commitment to compassion - a boundless, selfless, and sacrificial love that echoes the heartbeat of our Heavenly Father. As we follow in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded that compassion is not just a feeling, but a choice - a choice to see beyond the surface and to touch the lives of the vulnerable, the lost, and the broken.
In the sacred words of Matthew 25:40, Jesus teaches us that our actions towards the least of these are, in fact, a reflection of our love for Him, marked by compassion, empathy, and kindness - shining beacons of hope in a world that desperately needs the love of Christ. May our lives be a testament to the transformative power of God's love, as we serve, uplift, and care for all, especially those who need it most.
